'Avatar 2' Producer Says Work on James Cameron's Film is Back On

After a brief hiatus, Avatar 2 is returning to production.

So many high profile productions had to stop because of the coronavirus that it's amazing to see one of the largest movies ever return to production. Especially a movie we have been waiting over a decade to watch.

Producer Jon Landau shared an update on Instagram, with a picture of the set construction and a message, “Our #Avatar sets are ready—and we couldn’t be more excited to be headed back to New Zealand next week. Check out the Matador, a high speed forward command vessel (bottom) and the Picador jetboat (top)—can’t wait to share more.”

We wish him the best.
